Frequently Asked

Everything you need to know about our pool opening and closing services.

Ask a Question
In Southern Maryland, most pool owners open between late April and mid-May, depending on the weather. We recommend booking your opening at least 2-3 weeks in advance, as spring is our busiest season. The earlier you book, the better your chance of getting your preferred date.
A typical pool opening takes 1-2 hours, while a closing takes about 1.5-2.5 hours depending on the size and type of your pool. This includes equipment inspection and all necessary adjustments to ensure everything is properly handled.
Not necessarily. As long as we have access to the pool area and the equipment pad, we can complete the service while you're away. We'll leave a detailed service report and reach out if we find anything that needs your attention or additional repair.
Part of every opening includes a thorough equipment inspection. If we find any issues with your pump, filter, heater, or other equipment, we'll document the problem, explain it to you, and provide a repair or replacement quote. We never perform unauthorized work.
Yes — our closing service includes all chemicals needed for winterization. We bring everything required for the treatment, including shock, algaecide, and antifreeze for all lines. No need to purchase anything in advance.
